- Amplification up to 18 times greater than most advanced conventional Littmann Stethoscopes
- Three response modes. Bell mode for frequencies 20-200Hz. Diaphragm mode for frequencies 100-500hz. a unique extended range mode for frequencies 200-1000Hz
- Recording, storage and playback capabilities for six different auscultations, available at normal and half speed (Model 4100WS only)
- Infared data transmission of recorded sounds to either another Model 4100WS or for download to an IBM-compatible PC, providing the option to share or store sounds. (Model 4100WS only)
