Product Details

The original simple office spirometer. The pioneering Vitalograph Gold Standard features the original wedge bellows design that was first launched in 1963. Its proven accuracy and reliability ensures that the Gold Standard continues to set the standard for volume displacement spirometers around the world.

The Gold Standard provides direct volume measuring system that offers the highest degree of accuracy in spirometry for FVC and FEV1.

  • Simple and fast measurement of FVC and FEV1
  • Use with SafeTway® or BVF™ Bacterial/Viral Filter for assured hygiene
  • Simple checking of accuracy and linearity using a precision syringe
  • Direct visualisation of pre-post bronchodilation curves
  • Moving stylus provides an excellent incentive for patients to make their best efforts, ensuring good quality tests
  • Simple bronchial challenge testing by moving stylus start to visualise dose response
  • Long breathing tubes minimise the risk of cross-contamination between subjects (optional machine washable tubes available)
  • Real time graphs and serial measurements over many years on one chart
  • Provides a permanent hard copy record for all tests carried out
