The Heine fibre optics angled laryngoscope handle can be fitted with any Heine fibre optics blade for difficult intubations.  Other systems require various angled blades for different patient sizes.  The angle of the blade to the handle gives a significantly better view for the intubation, e.g. in cases where there is injury to the neck
