For an ECG Monitor, information is printed out onto a roll of ECG Paper every time you make a test - hence if you're heavily dependent on an ECG Machine which uses ECG Paper and perhaps use it on a daily basis, then you'll get through a roll of ECG Paper every few weeks. Therefore if the price of ECG Paper was high, you'd end up spending a huge amount of money simply on replacing roll after roll of ECG Paper.
