Nebulisers
Nebulisers take your medication and turn into an easily breathable steam-like material. Once the 'steam' is inhaled it can begin to get deeply into your lungs and start to open your airways allowing you to breathe easily.
A nebuliser is similar to an inhaler, as for asthma sufferers, it's an easy way to inhale your medication and allow you to breathe easily once more.
You can read more information about nebulisers on Wikipedia's nebuliser page, as well as a few nebuliser information and advice pages throughout the internet, such as This nebuliser page.
Inhalers don't work for everyone, hence a nebuliser is a good alternative if an inhaler isn't working for you.
Nebulisers used to be big and bulky and only usable in the home as a result, hence an inhaler was always the way to go if you needed breathable medication on the go. Nowadays, Nebulisers can be much smaller (or still large home-based machines if you require that), allowing you to take a nebuliser around with you on your daily routine.
The only difference to a home nebuliser is the fact that obviously it's smaller and therefore fits into your pocket or handbag, but also that it doesn't feature a face mask like a domestic Nebuliser would. Instead it has a small tube as a mouthpiece for which to breathe from.
For asthma sufferers, portable nebulisers are a great way to control your asthma while on the move and away from home - take a look at our range of Nebulisers for more information.
